It all begins with an idea

Maybe you have someone in your life that you want to honour

Maybe you’ve had an experience you want immortalised

Whatever it is, I will work with you to create a unique portrayal that you can cherish for a lifetime

I got a commission from Nathan and I was blown away by the painting I received. I gave him a broad direction and let him have some creative freedom within that. When he sent over the first draft for me to check out - it couldn’t have been more perfect - it was exactly what I wanted! You could see the attention to colours and details, and the passion for the project that he had, down to the frame he chose. Nathan was a very great communicator throughout, checking in with screenshots of the painting progress to make sure he was on the right track. I can’t wait to work with Nathan again on another commission.

I’ve been a fan of Nathan’s artwork for a few years. We met at a music festival through mutual friends and really got along. Since we met, his art changed a lot so I didn’t know if he would be up for doing any portraits as he was kinda shifting away from figurative painting. I asked him if I could commission a portrait of myself and he was actually really excited about it but also let me know, he doesn’t do realism so not to expect it if that’s what I had in mind. I let him have creative control and he mixed his pointillism style into this funky portrait. It’s now on display in my apartment along with other talented artists. I haven’t commissioned anything new but maybe I’ll get a landscape or galaxy in the future.

We knew when we first saw Nathan’s work that we would love to have one of his personalized pieces. His work had texture, depth and movement done in a way that he makes look effortless and realistic. Working with Nathan was amazing. Nathan captured our girls in a moment frozen in time, on their favourite beach. We will always look at it and wonder what it was that grabbed their attention. He has a way of evoking different emotions with each of his pieces. We are already imagining our future pieces of the things we love hanging on our wall.

Nathan is a good friend of mine. My girlfriend commissioned a portrait of our cat for my Christmas present. We both loved it so much that the next year, I commissioned him to do a portrait of our dog as her Christmas present. Both paintings are side by side in our house. Thanks again mate!
